Manchester Ska Foundation started life back in 2010 when Lee (Lead singer) and Paul Tew A.K.A Chooi (Tenor sax player) decided they wanted to bring the 2-tone era back to people of Manchester. They had a vision of rude boys & rude girls dusting off there cherry red Doc Martins and re-living the days of stomping to bands such as Madness, The Specials, Bad Manners, The Beat, Desmond Dekker and Prince Buster, the list is endless. Out of these fascinating and exciting ideas Manchester Ska Foundation was born.
                                                

After scouring Manchester's endless musical talent the boys finally obtained a band of professional musicians who have an extensive background throughout the international music industry, the rehearsals began! On a wet and windy Thursday night in a small out-building at the end of a garden in Sale, Manchester, the musicians turned up pulling their musical instruments out of prehistoric cases littered with vintage stickers of years gone by. "Bernie Rhodes, know's don't hargue." Screamed Lee at the top of his voice and the sharp authentic brass section kicked in on The Special's classic, Gangsters, 1979 was here again !

Manchester Ska Foundation are a high energy, professional image ska band entertaining audences of any size and are quickly becoming the must see ska cover band throughout this great isle we call Britain. Boasting a 4k sound-system the band can easly fill any venue no matter how big or small and can tailor setlists to suit your wants and desires.
